City officials have now removed the metal sculpture left by Occupy protesters after their camp was closed by a court injunction last Friday. The unconfirmed Artist Phillip Vernon .The sculpture’s creator, offered just a few brief comments as his piece was loaded onto a truck.
“I support Occupy Calgary, support the people,” he said, before adding that he would like to see the statue put back in the plaza for 55 days each year to signify time spent camping there by the occupiers.?
