Welcome to RobbieBroatch.com.

Are you looking to the Internet to promote products service or information?

For profit, passion or for fun ?

Either way that is called marketing . No marketing is not a bad word but a technique .

In 1985 I purchased my first computer. Those days the Internet was somewhere out there being used by the military and Universities.

Radio Shack Model 3

No we were the pioneers using modems and telephone lines, buying magizines with programming codes and typing each command in to build our BBS’s (Bulliten Board Systems).

I will always remember my first online connection was to the local University. What a thrill it was to recieve a “LOGIN Please:” appear on my screen.

Soon I was connected with others and partnered on a huge 12 line multi User BBS never before could people in my local connect with others and chat with more than one other user.

We were cutting edge and called “Nerds”

In 1987 I took that computer with a speedy 300 baud modem and launched the first online BBS Carlot in Calgary Canada possibly all of Canada.

I always think of what could have been if I listened to my heart and not others who didn’t believe in my foresight

Yes everyone told me that computers and going online was a fad like CB radios and would pass.

Since then I have seen a lot of techniques, programs and websights come and go.

I have seen and used the computers as they grew from cassette loaded programs to todays High speed and dual core processors.

I have to laugh right now as I just glanced up and saw my first Hard drive sitting on the shelf.

6 mega bit Hard drive

I paid  $2000 for it when cars were $10,000 I bought a Radio Shack 6M hardrive that is the size of desktop computer in itself. My how the times have changed.

I have spent thousands of hours trieing retrieng and tinkering with different ways to network and market.

This site is dedicated to helping those who want to promote online .

I will in the weeks to come lay out an easy and inexpensive way to use the resources the internet has to offer to put your on the internet highway to you destination.

 And get you there quicker.

I hope you participate contribute and help grow this community.

Why did I use my name for my site. Because my Mother and Father proudly gave it to me and I am trieing to show all who I am, the real person and not some handle.

Check back soon.
